To support this
excellent educational resource, Friends
and Heroes provides lesson plans and pupil worksheets in
association with the
RE experts at The Stapleford Centre. The lesson plans have been created
to complement all the national syllabus guidelines for ages 7-11
throughout the UK and Northern Ireland - including the Manx
curriculum. With the kind permission of Manx Radio you can now listen to their interview with Ali Vondy.

Series One of Friends and Heroes with my year 5 and 6
classes last year. The children thoroughly enjoyed every
episode. They loved the characters and the storylines, and
were always eager to see what would follow in the next
episode. The lesson plans are excellent, giving a wide scope
for speaking and listening as well as written work. There is
a huge wealth of material in these programmes and lessons,
giving the teacher flexibility in the way the lesson
